JEWISH LIFE

FOUNDATION

Preserving Jewish Stories. Strengthening Jewish Connections. Inspiring Jewish Futures.

For more than two decades, Jewish Life Foundation has worked to connect people to Jewish life, culture, history, and identity through the power of media, education, travel, and community engagement.

Founded by visionary broadcaster Phil Blazer z"l, the Foundation was created on a simple belief: Jewish stories matter. They matter because they connect us to our past, strengthen our communities in the present, and inspire future generations.

Today, at a time of rising antisemitism, increasing social isolation, and growing challenges to Jewish identity, Jewish Life Foundation serves as a platform for connection, education, and engagement—reaching people where they are through television, digital media, educational initiatives, cultural experiences, and community partnerships.

Whether someone is discovering Judaism for the first time, deepening a lifelong connection, exploring Israel, preserving family history, or simply seeking a greater sense of belonging, Jewish Life Foundation helps create meaningful pathways into Jewish life.

Because no Jew should ever feel disconnected from the Jewish people, their heritage, or their story.

Our Mission

Jewish Life Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Jewish identity, preserving Jewish history, fostering understanding, and building community through media, education, cultural programming, and experiential engagement.

We believe that powerful stories, meaningful experiences, and authentic conversations can inspire connection, combat ignorance, and strengthen Jewish life for generations to come.

What We Do

Jewish Media and Storytelling

Stories have always been at the heart of Jewish life.

Through television, streaming, digital media, documentaries, interviews, and original programming, we bring Jewish voices, ideas, history, and culture to audiences across North America.

Our work includes:

  • Supporting educational and cultural programming on JLTV

  • Producing original documentaries and series

  • Preserving Holocaust and survivor testimony

  • Showcasing Jewish culture, arts, and music

  • Exploring contemporary Jewish issues

  • Building bridges through storytelling

Media allows us to reach people not only in synagogues and classrooms, but in their homes, on their screens, and in their daily lives.

Building Connection

Why This Work Matters

We live in a time of unprecedented challenges and unprecedented opportunities.

Many people feel disconnected—from institutions, from community, and from one another.

At the same time, antisemitism is rising around the world. Misinformation spreads rapidly. Historical memory fades. Younger generations often struggle to find meaningful pathways into Jewish life.

Jewish Life Foundation exists to meet these challenges by creating connection.

Through stories.

Through learning.

Through experiences.

Through community.

By helping people encounter Jewish life in meaningful and accessible ways, we strengthen identity, understanding, and belonging.

The Legacy of Phil Blazer

Jewish Life Foundation carries forward the vision of our founder, Phil Blazer z"l.

Phil believed that Jewish stories deserved to be told, Jewish voices deserved to be heard, and Jewish culture deserved a place in the broader public conversation.

His commitment to education, community, media, and Jewish peoplehood continues to guide everything we do.

Today, that vision lives on through every program, partnership, broadcast, educational initiative, and community connection we help create.
