Rabbi Feivel Strauss and Cantor Abbie Strauss are the founding clergy team of Tamid Palm Beach. Feivel, raised in Boca Raton, spent fifteen years living and studying in Israel — serving in the IDF's Golani Brigade as a lone soldier and earning degrees from Bar-Ilan University — before a career as a campus rabbi, congregational rabbi, and hospice chaplain that led him to found Tamid as a home for Positive Judaism. Abbie, a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and member of the Grammy Recording Academy and Cantors Assembly executive committee, has spent two decades building musical communities and founded the Institute of Jewish Rock, recording six albums and reaching audiences from local hospitals to the Kravis Center and JLTV. Together they blend teaching, storytelling, and music to connect people to Jewish tradition and each other. Feivel and Abbie are married and the proud parents of Joe, Eden, and Elijah.
Rabbi Mark Blazer
Rabbi Blazer is President of Jewish Life Foundation at JLTV and rabbi of Temple Beth Ami. He began leading trips to Israel decades ago with his father media pioneer Phil Blazer, z”l. Rabbi Blazer hosts Shabbat Sessions each week on JLTV and brings Israel to life for millions. He is a beloved religious leader in the United States and around the world.
